The Acta Universitatis Carolinae – Historia Universitatis Carolinae Pragensis subtitled Příspěvky k dějinám Univerzity Karlovy (Contributions to the History of Charles University, AUC–HUCP) is a journal dedicated to the history of not only the Prague university but universities and institutions of higher learning in general. Moreover, it also publishes contributions to the history of education and schools, history of student movements, analyses of source materials, original historical sources, but also reviews and summaries of works on the history of education and an overview of ongoing research projects. All articles are provided with a summary in a world language, usually German and English.

This journal has been appearing since 1960 as part of the university series Acta Universitatis Carolinae and belongs to the category of peer-reviewed non-impact periodicals published in the Czech Republic.
